(English version below) Voor de rubriek 'Ajax-fans over de grens' is Ajax Showtime op zoek naar nieuwe verhalen! In deze rubriek spreken wij met Ajax-fans die de club op de voet volgen vanuit het buitenland. Samen met deze fans halen wij warme herinneringen op aan Ajax. Waar komt hun liefde voor de club vandaan? Hoe beleven zij alles rondom Ajax vanuit het buitenland?

De rubriek leverde al mooie verhalen op, zo ook die van de Braziliaanse Lisandra. Zij heeft zich online verenigd met landgenoten die met haar de passie voor Ajax delen. 'Ik ontmoet op Twitter steeds meer Braziliaanse Ajaxfans en zit in een WhatsAppgroep met ruim tweehonderd Brazilianen, waar we 24/7 over Ajax chatten. Op een dag hoop ik met hen naar een wedstrijd in de Johan Cruijff ArenA te gaan, met een vliegtuig vol Braziliaanse Ajaxfans naar Amsterdam!', zo sprak zij over haar Amsterdamse liefde.

Ook de Amerikaanse Joseph is een Ajacied in hart en nieren en laat dit graag zien. ‘Ik draag altijd Ajax-shirtjes. Zelfs als ik hier in Amerika naar een willekeurige sportwedstrijd ga, draag ik doorgaans vaak een Ajax-shirt. Tijdens die wedstrijden doen we aan tailgate. Ik heb dan naast mijn auto een hele grote Amsterdamse vlag die dan tevoorschijn komt.’

AS is looking for Ajax fans abroad for the 'Ajax fans across the border' series

For our section ‘Ajax fans across the border’ Ajax Showtime is looking for new stories! In this series, we sit down with Ajax fans who closely follow the club from outside the Netherlands. Together with these fans we reminisce about Ajax. Where does their love for the club stem from? How do they experience everything going on with Ajax from outside the Netherlands?

The segment has already seen numerous beautiful stories. Take Lisandra from Brazil for example. She has found numerous compatriots online who share her passion for Ajax. ‘I’m finding more and more Brazilian Ajax fans online. Over two hundred of us are in a group chat on Whatsapp, where we talk about Ajax 24/7. One day, I hope to visit an Ajax game in the Johan Cruijff ArenA together with a few of them, to take a plane full of Brazilian Ajax fans to Amsterdam!’

Joseph is from the United States and he’s an Ajax fan in heart and soul. ‘I always wear Ajax kits. Even when I’m just going to a random sports game here in the States, I’m wearing an Ajax kit. During the games we often have tailgate parties and during those parties I always have a big Amsterdam flag next to my car.’
